Terms of Service
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Acceptance
By using Markloom you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service — the playground included.
The service
Markloom is a markdown editor over storage you own (Google Drive or GitHub). It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be discontinued.
Your content
- Everything you write is yours. Markloom claims no rights over your documents, stores no copies, and can't access more than the scopes you granted.
- You are responsible for your content and for using the service lawfully — don't use Markloom to create or share content that is illegal or that infringes others' rights.
- Your files also remain subject to your storage provider's own terms (Google's or GitHub's).
Fair use
We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access that abuses the service — automated scraping, attempts to circumvent limits, or activity that harms other users or the storage providers.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Markloom and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data held in your own storage provider. Since Markloom stores no content, your documents' availability is governed by your Google Drive or GitHub account, not by us.
Changes & contact
If these terms change, the date above changes with it. A support contact will be published here at launch.
